Measuring for Your TV Cover

 At TV Coverz, our custom outdoor TV covers are designed to fit your plasma or LCD TV securely. To ensure a precise fit that best protects your investment—we need you! Print this convenient guide, then measure and record your TV’s dimensions. Measure to ¼ of an inch. Measure twice, cut once, the old carpenter’s wisdom says. So please—measure twice! You’ll provide these measurements when ordering your outdoor TV cover.

 Height – Top to Bottom (without the stand)

Measure from the top to the bottom of your TV (not including the stand). You are measuring the entire TV height — not just the screen — so include the frame area around the screen. Measure to ¼ of an inch.

 Width – Left Side to Right Side

Measure from the left side to the right side of your TV, including the frame area around the screen. Measure to ¼ of an inch.

TV Width specification should be measured from the left side of your TV to the right side of your TV

 Depth – Side View / Profile

Measure the depth of your TV, the distance from front to back. Depth can vary from top to bottom, so you are going to take three different depth measurements. Measure to ¼ of an inch.

TV Depth specification should be measured from the front of your TV to the back of your TV

 Mounting Accomodations – Back of TV

Here we need to accommodate your wall mount. Please make sure to measure DOWN from the top of the TV to the wall mount as far as possible (Dimension A). Also please make sure to measure IN from the side of the TV to the wall mount as far as possible (Dimension B). You want the MAXIMUM coverage for your TV. Measure to ¼ of an inch.

A) On the back of the TV measure how far DOWN you would like the cover to go from the top of the TV. (For maximum coverage measure DOWN as far as possible)

B) On the back of the TV measure how far IN you like the cover to go from the side of the TV. (For maximum coverage measure IN as far as possible)

TV Mounting Accommodations should be measured as far DOWN and IN as possible to the center of the back of your TV for maximum coverage and protection.
